Tomet’s machining processes guarantee a complete finished product, from the friction welding phase to turning, grinding, milling, knurling, rotor insertion, rotor turning and balancing.

The company’s fleet with over 100 CNC machines used in the production of shafts and rotors, starts from the design phase and creation of prototypes up to the customer’s assembly line.

TURNING

ROTOR INSERTION

8 mechanical presses for cold insertion of rotors from MEC 63 to MEC 160 
1 oven for shrink fitting insertion ( no induction) of bigger rotors from MEC 180 to 250 

FRICTION WELDING

KNURLING
